I am thrilled to share my latest track, 'Lights', which is my personal favourite release of the year so far. This chillhop track features a live bass guitar that adds warmth and depth to the overall sound. I particularly enjoyed the process of blending different elements together to create a nostalgic vibe that takes listeners on a journey. Through careful sampling and manipulation, I was able to infuse the track with a laid-back and relaxed feel, which is a hallmark of the chillhop genre. Overall, I am very proud of how 'Lights' turned out and I can't wait for you to hear it.
When creating 'Lights', I drew inspiration from my previous track 'I Want You' and sought to create a similar sound. I wanted to capture the same sensual and seductive energy present in 'I Want You', so I focused on layering different sounds and textures to create a rich, immersive listening experience. By experimenting with different samples and instrumentation, I was able to create a sonic landscape that is both soothing and evocative. Ultimately, I'm thrilled with how 'Lights' turned out and I'm glad that I was able to incorporate some of the same sensual elements that made in 'I Want You'.
